This house has two entrances (front and back) providing a hasty retreat in case an unwanted visitor shows up on your loved one’s front door. A generous overhang helps to prevent rain and snow from entering the home and keep your pet warm, safe and dry. If you have multiple kitties, try the larger Outdoor Kitty A-Frame, which is also available in both heated and unheated versions.
It is made with 600 denier nylon with a vinyl backing that makes it waterproof. The outdoor kitty house is a neutral, olive green color, blending in with any home’s exterior. The interior of the heated version of this bed features a removable, state-of-the-art K&H Lectro-Soft bed - a thermostatically controlled, ortho-foam, indoor/outdoor heating pet pad. It even includes a washable fleece cover that will help your pet feel comfortable and warm all at once, even when the weather is not great.
There is also an unheated version, and if you decide later you need the heater you can purchase a K&H Lectro-Soft Outdoor Heated Bed to put in it. The outdoor kitty house is easy to assemble and requires no tools. Its velcro walls and zippered roof make it simple to clean. The cord attached to the warming floor pad is a 5.5 foot steel wrapped cord to prevent chewing. It is not recommended that you use an extension cord with this product as it can create a safety hazard when used outdoors. Recommended for indoor and outdoor use. MET listed. One year warranty.

How can I help avoid drafts?
If you are worried about drafts entering the home, try setting up your home near a wall on one side. The generous overhang will keep the home far enough from the walls that your pet can escape quickly when necessary.
Test your bed
The orthopedic K&H Lectro-Soft bed that is included with heated outdoor kitty houses is equipped with a low-wattage, internal thermostat that warms to a soothing 102 degrees, even in sub-zero weather. If it seems like the bed is not heating up, try covering half of the bed with a pillow and coming back to it later. Feel the uncovered side of the bed, and then under the pillow. You’ll immediately feel the warmth. The bed is designed to heat as your pet lies on it to a temperature desirable to your furry loved one.

Assembling Your Kitty House
The house assembles quickly and easily and requires no tools. Follow the steps below and your cat will have a new hangout in no time.
The house comes disassembled and packed flat. The heated kitty house contains a roof and wall assembly as well as a Lectro-Soft heated bed with fleece cover. The unheated house contains only the roof and wall assembly.
First, lay the roof flat on the ground and zip the roof to the side assembly. To construct the sides, put each wall up one at a time and secure with velcro (shown here without a roof for demonstration purposes). Then use the velcro strips to install the entrance flaps.
If the you have the heated house, place the Lectro-Soft in and thread the cord through the cord hole. To finish construction, tuck in the flaps under the roof and secure with Velcro.
