Hatching pure Ameracuana chicks in a farmers innovators incubator. So far everything is going exceptionally well. Upon candling the eggs the air cell and chick development is superb! I'm very happy with this incubator since its very affordable and so far reliable. It comes with the fan built in and an egg turner. I bought a little giant plastic liner tray for the bottom and cut it to size to keep the bacteria down in between hatches. It's very important to use the glass thermometer provided as an extra. The thermometer on the top is not accurate. This incubator also comes with a rubber flashlight for candling.
I tried hatching prior with a broody hen, but she ate two pipping chicks. Therefore I thought it was important to buy an incubator.
