Absolute Auction Eutrophia Farms in Ohio with Horses, Equipment to Sell

Chesterland, Ohio (PRWEB) October 09, 2013

Elisabeth Alexander has been a well-known fixture in the Ohio horse racing community for some time now, but the 85-year-old owner, breeder and equine enthusiast has decided it’s time to retire and is offering her equestrian farm to the public. Myers Jackson, auctioneer and marketing producer with United Country – iNational of Tallahassee, Fla., in conjunction with United Country – Premier Estates of Tampa, Fla., referring broker, and Wigton Real Estate & Auction Co. of Ashley, Ohio, will be conducting a live and online auction event to offer the Eutrophia Farms, farm equipment and prime Thoroughbred horses to the public Tuesday, Oct. 22.

This property consists of a roughly 140-acre equestrian estate that is located near several race tracks and only 25 miles from Cleveland. Eutrophia Farms is home multiple barns with a total of 81 stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, a Eurosizer, round pens, storage buildings and run-in sheds. The land offers 25 pastures and paddocks, roughly two and a half miles of wooded riding trails, three lakes, and several housing options.

"Eutrophia Farms is an extremely versatile farm and was designed for multiple uses," Elias Del Val, current farm manager for Eutrophia Farms. "The property is currently used as a Thoroughbred breeding and training facility, but it is also well-suited as a multi-discipline training and boarding facility for Standardbreds, Quarter Horses, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Polo, and more. This Ohio horse farm has all the amenities necessary for equine breeding, boarding, and training."

The updated 1901 home is a split-level, two-suite farmhouse featuring approximately 2,135 square feet of gross living space. Upstairs and downstairs both offer a two-bedroom, single-bath suite. The manager’s house is a renovated and remodeled 1900s farmhouse with about 2,040 square feet, three bedrooms and two baths.

Also offered for sale on the same day are 24 horses – yearlings and broodmares – and a sizable personal property collection including trucks, trailers, tractors, equipment, tack, tools, furniture and other items.

The breeder’s sale is subject to reserve and prior sale. Real estate, land buildings and listed equipment sells absolute.

The October 22 auction will begin at 10 a.m. on-site at 7939 Sherman Road in Chesterland, Ohio. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Interested parties can also join the bidding process via Internet at CertifiedLandAuction.com/HorseFarm.
