So I purchased this kennel. I have two dogs both kennel really well. Just the one gets kenneled when we are gone but they both choose to sleep in the kennel at night. We don’t even close the door they just cuddle up next to each other. We bought this one as it’s big enough for both, easy to pack up and take if we are traveling, and on that note easy to store away if we have company and need the space. This kennel is pretty great. I was able to take it apart and put it together with one hand it’s that easy. If you watch my video you’ll see that too. Once put together it’s really sturdy. If you have an SUV I would highly recommend this buy if you tend to travel with your pets. Obviously measure first to make sure the size you choose fits but with the front and side ‘door’ openings it would be great for the trunk of the car as an alternative to using those bulking sometimes very difficult to install bars to keep your dogs in back. My dogs have already started calling this kennel home. It’s their safe space (which any kennel should be) they are not afraid to go into it and often go in, like at night for bed, on their own accord. Again this fit both my dogs. I have a corgi and a blue heeler/Australian shepherd mix. On a side note I totally love the design and character this kennel has. You can get in different colors, our grey in color but also comes in green. It has a dog bone opening on the one side. The Velcro attachments to home the doors open on the sides and the top open get used often in our house and haven’t worn down yet. The mat on the inside is nice and easy to clean. Throw the mat in the wash and the kennel itself is a material that is easy to wipe down. I hope my review was helpful!! **I say in the video it’s an XL and would like to correct that I purchased the XXL.**

We purchased this crate since we travel frequently for agility trial and other dog sports like dock diving. This crate way exceeded my expectations. It did in the easy set up and take down, sheepskin type crate mat that was included and overall quality. I wish I had one sooner.

The set up and take down is super smooth. Just unzip the top (it took me a few times I was reaching in the front before I realized the top was way easier!!) and connect a set of bars on either side of the top and slide the plastic covers over them. When itâs time to break it down, just do the reverse. I am not sure of the exact crate weight but itâs super light, maybe two pounds max, with a shoulder strap so itâs the easiest crate to carry. I will not ever lug around airline or wire crates again!!

I bought the 36 inch crate and I was a little worried about size but itâs perfect. The interior is the same size as a 40 inch airline crate since there is no room wasted in the design. Pictured is my 65 pound male Belgian Malinois who has more than enough room. I also use it for our 60 pound female Malinois/German Shepherd mix who is longer in the body and she fits great as well. I have even put my 80 pound, 27 inch Malinois puppy in from time to time and this size is right at borderline for him, I think I will get one size up for him when he starts to travel more.

When we are not traveling I leave this crate up in the corner of our office with the front rolled up and it is the most popular dog bed in the house. The dogs love the cozy cave and sheepskin type crate mat. I pretty much have not been able to keep them out of it so they all definitively like it as well.

Any cloth crate isnât appropriate if your dog isnât yet crate trained, if they have anxiety and tear up crates, and they arenât the safest choice for inside a vehicle in the case of a crash. So I would not suggest this crate or any cloth crate for those uses. But for a light portable travel crate, hotels, dog shows, or just around the house, this crate is fantastic.

We have been looking for a travel dog crate for quite some time. Our dog Daisy is diabetic, and we can’t leave her with just anyone. She needs insulin injections twice a day and a good bit of exercise. We really liked this crate from Expawlorer! We wanted a travel crate so that we can visit family out of town and take her with us, and also for emergencies where the dog might have to be crated.

TheÂ first thing I noticed with this portable dog crate is that it is very easy to put together, even without reading the instructions. It simply unfolds and you snap a few bars together and secure them with plastic sleeves. It is very well built with high-quality materials. They even thought of the minor details like being able to keep the door open with velcro tabs, having secure handles with which to move the crate, and having plenty of ventilation, with one of the windows being a decorative cut out of a dog bone. There is a soft mat inside for the dog to lie on, and this mat is both removable and washable. The crate we picked out as a little larger to allow her to have a training pad in her crate if she really has to go to the bathroom while we are out. It is very sturdy, but light, and can be quickly folded down for convenient transportation. Awesome product!
